Please note that we don't charge any VAT on the products and shipping. However you are very likely to have to pay import VAT (and possibly local courier fees) when you receive your parcel, please see below for more details.

Parcels under 2kg: We use Royal Mail International Standard which is an untracked service. The postage price depends on the weight of the parcel - this will be calculated at Checkout. As of 1st July, import VAT is due on all parcels no matter what the size.
Parcels over 2kg: We use Parcelforce's Euro Economy service, which requires the customer to pay any due taxes and duties at the point of delivery. We recommend that the total value of the products is £135 or less in order to avoid any duties, but VAT will almost always be due, at the specified rate of your country. In most countries there is an additional clearance fee to pay to the carrier. Please do contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org before placing your order and we can try to provide an estimate of fees.
In France and Germany, we also offer Parcelforce's Euro Priority service, which means the taxes and duties are all incorporated into the shipping cost and paid upfront. You can select this service at Checkout. Please be aware, though, that these parcels are subject to more Customs scrutiny and are therefore taking longer than the Economy service.
If you decide to refuse the parcel, we will refund the product costs but not the shipping, and there is a returns charge of £1.50 per item.
Liquids limit is 1L if parcel travels by air (Azores; Balearic Islands; Belgium; Bulgaria; Canaries; Corsica; Estonia; Greecw; Latvia; Lithuania; Luxembourg; Madeira; Malta; Romania; San Marino; Slovakia; Slovenia; Spain; Turkey).
Liquids limit is 10L to all other European destinations.
General Delivery Information
For U.K. orders worth £200 or above postage is free of charge.
Wherever possible we dispatch orders received on weekdays before 1300 on the same day. There are no dispatches at weekends or on public holidays.
Local customers can pick up orders directly from our premises. Telephone us on 01380 725952 or email us an order (rather than ordering from this website) at least a few hours ahead so we can have it ready.
U.K. stockists include Wadswick Country Store (Calne), Hat2Hoof (Wootton Bassett), and Hilden Animal Feeds (Hildenborough, Kent).
We also sell on Amazon, delivery is next day on most of the range for Prime customers, although it's a more expensive way to buy.

Currently the charge for Royal Mail Standard Tracked (usually 2-3 days): £3.50 for 0-1 kg and £3.95 for 1-2kg.

Please note that Parcelforce don't deliver on Saturdays using these services.
Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland
We use Royal Mail Tracked as standard up to 2kg (inclusive of packaging) and Parcelforce services for parcels over 2kg.
Royal Mail Tracked is priced the same as the rest of the U.K., but sending by ParcelForce is much more expensive. Splitting a larger parcel into two smaller ones (which will go by Royal Mail instead) is often more cost-effective.
